The Bundeswehr is divided into the military part (armed forces /Streitkräfte) and the civil part with the armed forces administration (Wehrverwaltung), the federal bureau of procurement (Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung) and the federal bureau for information management and information technology of the Bundeswehr (Bundesamt für Informationsmanagement und Informationstechnik der Bundeswehr – short: IT-AmtBw). The military part the federal defense force consists of Army (Heer), Navy (Marine), Air Force (Luftwaffe), Joint Support Service (Streitkräftebasis), and Central Medical Services (Zentraler Sanitätsdienst) branches.

The Bundeswehr has 200,500 professional soldiers, 55,000 18 to 25 year-old conscripts who serve for at least nine months under current rules [4], and 2,500 active reservists at a given time. The number of civilian employees is to be reduced to 75,000 during the coming years. Roughly 300,000 reservists are available to the Armed Forces and participate in defense exercises as well as abroad deployments.

Women have served in the medical service since 1975. In 2000, in a lawsuit brought up by Tanja Kreil, the European Court of Justice issued a ruling allowing women to serve in more roles than previously allowed. Since 2001 they can serve in all functions of service without restriction, but they are not subject to conscription. There are presently around 14,500 women on active duty and a number of female reservists who take part in all duties including peacekeeping missions and other operations. Two female medical officers have been promoted to a General rank so far.

    You you could do …
You you could do something about it, but it would take people willing to risk their jobs, being arrested or being spied by homeland security to stop these wars…

I often asked myself why the people of Germany didn´t stop Hitler….Today, after speaking with many old people who already were adults at that time I can say that most of them were simply afraid to end up in Auschwitz as well after they realized how evil Hitler and his homies really were.

    Oh, you don’t get it.
First of all our “prime minister” is called chancelor.
And she is not the one that is against the German Army fighting for real.
It’s the people of Germany that are against our troops joining real combat in STAN.

    I wouldn’t say that …
I wouldn’t say that. It is the 5th strongest army in the world behind: USA, Russia, China, India. The technology in its army is state-of-the-art. It exports to many different military powers, including: USA, France, Great Britain, Korea…

  13. NKA23 Says:

    When they finally …
When they finally joined, Hitler had strategically lost the war already…the US attacked a deadly wounded enemy when they invaded the Normany.
It took the combined efforts of over 50 nations to stop Hitler´s Germany so you can´t really say “THE US KICKED GERMANY´S “.

  14. NKA23 Says:

    PLUS
    The US didn´t …

    PLUS
The US didn´t join the war in europe until being attacked by japan resulting in Hitler declaring war to the US as well.
Before that the US waited who was going to win in Europe Hitler or Stalin.

  15. NKA23 Says:

    First of all …
First of all Germany had about 78million people back than, as much as the combined populations of California, Texas and New York State.
    You can´t call that TINY…
This one nation practically attack everybody else in europe except Italy and temporarily conquered and held a territory with more than 300 million people…
OF COURSE that wouldn´t work out for long with the US and Russia attacking the Reich from both sides…

  16. mrpirman Says:

most of equipment is made in germany and europe not in usa

  22. BugattiVeyron123 Says:

    USA did join half …
USA did join half way trough the war. But stop kidding yourself. Before that the UK and Russia were close to collapse. Their technology was nothing compared to the German technology.

  25. BugattiVeyron123 Says:

    The UK would have …
The UK would have been crushed if it hadn’t been for the USA and Russia…and of course Hitlers horrible decision to change the tactics to bombing raids.
